PRESENTATIONS:
The Truth about Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs: John Lilly, DO, MBA will join us in Lake Ozark to present his original analysis revealing the failures of PDMPs. The Wall Street Journal, Reason, TownHall, Conservative Review, and others, have cited Dr. Lilly’s work and his conclusion that the improper targeting of physicians and patients ignores the true culprits of the illicit opioid overdose crisis. He has taken a deep dive into the hard data and you won’t want to miss Dr. Lilly’s talk.
Legal Update: AAPS General Counsel Andrew Schlafly will join the meeting by Skype to provide an update of how AAPS is fighting the latest attacks on patients and physicians and answer your questions. Mr. Schlafly is leading the legal fight against onerous and counterproductive Maintenance of Certification (MOC) mandates in addition to his daily advocacy to curb the many encroachments on freedom in medicine, from overzealous medical boards, anti-competitive payers and hospitals, government bureaucrats, and others who seek to interfere in the patient-physician relationship.
